THE DIVINE IMPERATIVE:

We must see that the divine imperative is tied up in who Jesus is. We may not like who Jesus is, however it is critical even imperative that we find out.

One of the prime Imperatives is the ability to and the art and act of Parying. Whatever it is that Jesus claim to be, it is in that that we find our own idenity. We may deny it, distort it even attempt to destroy it, yet it is nevertheless, so. It is said in the Bible that though we deny God, God cannot deny God's own self; God remains true. " 2 Timothy 2:
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: (HE CANNOT DENY HIMSELF.)he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

God did not leave the proving of the fact that God is real to the vassillating emotions and feelings of humans, and yet, at the same time, God invested all of the fulness of who God is into the hands of humans. The fact that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and rose from the dead is more than just a historical deed, or a Christian myth, Jesus is what we are and are to become. It is God saying, I have a plan for humans, and indeed all creation and nothing shall prevent the ultimate fulfillment of the plan and purpose.

God has a plan and purpose for man, and in the end or at God appointed time that which God has purposed shall come to pass.

Paul has said, oh that I might know Him.... Here Paul is speaking about God as God is manifested in the person of Jesus Christ....

One of the continueing and sometimes preplexing questions is the fact of the reality of God and our ability as humans to prove itI am aware of the words of God where God encourages us as individuals to Prove God in certain ares; it is , in these cases, a matter of personal relationship. It is God and the individual. God has been known to use many different types of instrumentalities it delivering a message to someone who God is dealing with, none more directly purposefully that the human being. This is because, as I have seen it and understand it, God's prime purpose. It is with the human being that God has chosen to manifest all of the fullness of The Godhead bodily. Because of this the
human has a unique opportunity to know God and an awesome responsibility to demonstrate who and what God is in the midst of creation. It is a power an ability that is so easily abused.

It is written in the first chapter of Genesis, "26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." To repeat, " 26 .... God said, let us make man (humans) in our image, and after our likeness...." Then it is written that,".... So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them,...."
Meet the people involved:....

God, The father, creator of heaven and earth, and all thing that exist. The Holy Spirit, who is the power and life that is God. The son, who is God come in human flesh, the pattern and example for the many membered body of God in the midst of creation. Man, who is created in the image and likeness of God , created to rule and have dominion over all the is God's; humans created to be the expression of God in the midst of creation. Created to praise God by who Human's are and by what they do, through and by the power and purpose Of God.

I think that sometimes the words that we humans use can paint us into a corner, as it were, when as dealing with some the things that we have to deal with. In the relm of the Christian faith and the believe in the God of the bible, the use of the words, man, and son, are just two of the words that can be very limiting and misleading.

When God speaks of the sons of God or even the daughters of Zion are they gender neutral or are they gender specific? Most people particularly believer in the God as put forth in the basic 66 books of the Bible, take it for granted that we know what these words mean, without giving them a second thought.

Points and times along the ongoing developing journey of the Divine Imperative....

If you have something to say about the divine imperative, about God, Jesus or me? Join our email discussion by following this link:

We make statement to God and to ourselves that we take so lightly and we turn back on so easily. How often we have made statment to God about something like Church attendance, or paying tithes, and made excuses so easy for failing to do them. Or how often have we made promises to our selves about praying, or lying about something, or a relationship that we know is bad for ourselves or others, and even dishonor our confession to and relationship with God. How easy it was for us to justify what we did or fail to do.

There is so much that I do not know about God and about myself, or even other people; however there is one thing that I know, that is if I am alive in this moment and on the relm that we now live on and in, I have a chance to be what I can understand of what God wnats me to be. I have a chance to be that which I desire to be. I have a chance to do what I fail to do in the past. I have a chance to make right some wrong that I have done; whether I do it in person or through pray, whether I do it to the person or thing that I wronged or through some some act of kindness to someone else, that I know< for I know it now, and now is all that I have that I can shape make and mold into some Godly.
Let us share,...Let us speak out....

The Issues Are....
We debate with the bible that claims to be the a record of God's deals with humans, and contain the word of God, as it has been received by humans and recorded by humans? Yet we will choose some other written communications that has been receive and recorded by some human instrumentality.

I think that truth that is indeed true is that which will prove to be true and unlimately factually provable. Truth will adapt to the people receiveing it and acting on it, but truth, in it's essence will never change.

God deals with people in the desert and in the ice cap where they are using the things in their environment to communicate to and with they so that they may be able to understand what is going on.

I believe that communicating is when two two or more people or things are talking, whatever their language is; one talk and the other understand the language being used. The level of education may differ, but the ability to utimately know what is being said is imperative to communicating, and communication.

And then when all has been said, we all at so point along the way need patience in deal with others with whom we desire to communicate; this is especially true when there are difference between us such as education, and other things the causes differences in learning and other survival abilities, be it mental or physical, from race to gender, age to national origin.

Divine Talk:

Where sin and separation from God, has caused great pain and suffering in the lives, not only of humans, but for all creation, where this rift existed, the forgiveness and love of God did and do much more abound.

God so loved the world that God gave God's only begotten son , that whosoever believe in the work that God has did in coming in human form, as the Son of God to buy us back, to win us back, to redeem us back form where we has strayed; and to bring us back to the reality of what it means to be the children, the sons and daughters of God.

The cross of Calvary bridged the gap of humans in sin and separation from God. We are in a place and situation becaus of a choice that our fore parents made; We are set free because of a choice that our father, Jesus made, and a prise that Jesus paid, yet we may choose to accept it or reject it. It is as simple as, God set a price for the rebellion of humans, and because God owns every thing, and God is in charge, God has the right to set whatever price and conditions God chooses.

We try so hard to win people to Christ, and rarely do we realize that it is God who do the winning. It is not easy to realize and be comfortable with the fact that it is God who is in charge of creation.

In the book of Isaiah through the Prophet God says, " Isaiah 30:15
For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. " As we return to the fact that God is in charge and control, and we rest in that fact and reality, we come into a knowing that is inclusive of and beyond the things as we know them with out normal senses. It is important to realize that what learn that is outside of the normal sense will find comfirmation it the sense and the things that we can know. That is if we come up with things that cannot somehow be confirmed we must as Mary did whe She was told that she would produce a child when she had never known a man.

God came unto man with male and female without the normal way of production and reproduction, in the person of Adam and Eve, and God gave unto us the ability to partake of the ability that God displayed when God man male and female, and God gave us the ability to have great enjoyment in the process. It is difficult for us to imagine the joy that God had in producing male and female; however if the joy and injoyment that we human have in the process of reproduction is even a fraction of the joy and enjoyment that God had, it is, in the words of the song, 'joy unspeakable and full of glory.'
